William and I heard the catfish purring today when we were cleaning the tank. The pet store guy said they do that when they are happy. The last time I heard them purr was when that same pet store guy was forcing them out of their nice spacious aquarium into a plastic cup for transport. I'm not sure he was accurate in his assessment. Image above, not a cat fish, just a cat acting fishy.
