Independent Visions this month featured projection performances by Edmonton's Lindsay McIntyre. With a row of 16mm projectors (usually) aimed at the same area of the screen. She used numerous hand processed film strips, many copied from Kodak demo films, others of original footage, and some even using her own emulsion spread on my brush. Apparently to get emulsion which is fast enough to shoot at cinema speed, it takes up to three days of mixing and stirring as each of these steps has an affect on the iso. Very cool show.
