The area around Rotary Park in Regina (where Rae Street meets the the creek), is flooded and the shallow water if full of small fish (minnows or something similar). The larger fish which have been introduced into Wascana Lake are hunting the minnows and are seen here clearly as they jump out of the water. Apparently the idea of introducing the fish came when they did the big dig a few years ago so that people could go fishing here but the fish were tested and deemed unsuitable for human consumption.
