I went to the new Woody Allen film, "Midnight in Paris" this evening. I enjoyed it, as I always enjoy Woody. I struck a nice balance of being very clever but allowing us to enjoy the cleverness of the situations equally with the character. The theatre was nearly full and a nice place to see it: huge with curtains that open before it begins (although not while it is starting as was the tradition).
