William and Remembrance Day

Today William read a poem and carried a wreath as part of the Remembrance Day event at his school. He made an earnest effort to remain stoic and somber throughout.  William was quite moved by the speech by a woman whose son was killed in Afghanistan and was a bit melancholy the rest of the day. Fortunately I was able to move my schedule around for the day and attend. I was quite far away and hand held so I used the stabilization feature in After Effects. The sound was impossible to fix, although I could have done a bit more if I took more time.
I picked up the car from the Mazda garage; the rack and pinion needed repair -  the first big repair and inevitably not the last, it being a 12 year old car.
