Open Aperture with Sock-Vile

Me and Mitch at Open Aperture (photo by Chrystene Ells)
The Filmpool began a new series of screening/talk/discussions tonight with their "Open Aperture" program at the Exchange. It was well attended, with a strong contingent there to support the four members of Mitch's workshop. Berny talked about his new idea "Borax" (might have title wrong) about a guy in a desert (perhaps post apocalyptic) walking in the footsteps of cinema. I talked about Sockvile for a few minutes, primarily about the sound as I have no idea what the soundtrack should be. A few suggestions came up including referencing Jacque Tati, which I'll have to give some consideration to.
