Fireworks and pie

We headed out for fireworks, taking chairs along this year as we've always felt tired by the process of standing and waiting on the bridge. While the show seemed short, sitting made it all the more pleasant. The girls arrived just as it all began and we had everyone back to the house for pie afterwards.
