Christmas Eve at Gertrud's

 Today the girls slept in after the sleepover. The activities of last night (undisclosed in yesterday's blog) included drawing on the wrapping paper for a new 51" plasma tv for Fred and Gertrud (George's idea that they need it and that their basement reno, slated to being in January, will need to revolve around the tv. We bought it two or three weeks ago on a good sale and have had it squirreled away in our basement ever since). We snuck it back into their house and revealed it only when all the other gifts were open (German tradition of Christmas Eve goose dinner and then opening presents). William will open most of his gifts tomorrow but I did give him his camera so he could begin to shoot videos and photos of the evening's activities.
