Getting cold again

After a couple of days reprieve  the temperatures are dropping quickly. As I sit at my desk at home, I can hear the loud snaps of the wood as the cold shifts the wood. I'm certain this can't be good for the house. Feeling a bit frustrated as my email seems to be down (but not the internet) meaning that I can't get my notes that I'm hoping are there to finalize my grant application which is due Friday, nor can I get my calendar to update my annual report which is due Thursday. No reprieve with those.
