Simon and his crew made quick progress on our deck. My doubts that it will be in place this fall were unfounded. They discovered a paved sidewalk running along the back of the house (about 6 feet out) that I'd not known about before. It was covered by a few inches of soil and I think was likely the continuation of the lower sidewalk I knocked out from the north side of the house many years ago.
