We held a terrific opening for the "Tree-Kill Tim and His Friend Swampy" comic series at Amber Phelps Bondaroff's Salt Gallery this evening. We had about 43 people attending, which is a solid number for the intimate sized space. For those who missed it, the work is available from the street (just west of Atlantis Coffee on Victoria in Regina) for the rest of October. For those who made it, including friends, family, teachers, and other interested people, thank you. While both his and my names were on the work, it is really his big event, a showcase for the zaniness he channels through his pen. I'm so impressed with him.

This blog was established to chronicle my one year sabbatical beginning July 1, 2007. I wrote every day that year and maintain it now for a personal and occasional professional journal.
