Here is the deplorable state of the front step. The carpet had certainly be holding it together until recently. Geremy was here on William's birthday and felt it break under his foot. The metal is all very rusty and it isn't just that step, it is all of them. I bought materials to rebuild them. Meanwhile, we have partial power in the garage.
