Hair and Mike Jozsa

I painted a finger puppet that is holding a bead sized camera today. It is supposed to be Margaret's version of William's character Sir Reginald, so I supposed this is a full family collaboration. Mike Jozsa came over and recorded a radio show with William under the misapprehension that it was a show about art and about him. They talked about Mike's art from last night quite a bit. I got my haircut. Coffee at French Press with Kevin later.

Mike Jozsa

Mike Josza (pictured above with Angie Counios) hosted a very successful "soft" opening for his outside the box show this evening. I'm certain there were 40-50 people there, more than many openings for full scale shows I've been at recently. Snacks were superb. His work here is images of monsters carved or drawn onto/into old wood and metal objects.

Star Wars day

I've not been playing records for the past three or four months, but got the junk cleared away from around the turntable to allow me to put on Meko's cover of the Star Wars theme as well as some proper cuts from the soundtrack album.

Mom's foot

Lori did the heavy lifting on getting mom to the clinic today with her swollen foot. I spelled her off for a while. This new emergency care place on Albert Street is pretty good. Generally quiet and orderly, although the waiting was long. Mom was there for close to 10 hours for ultrasound, x-ray, and various other tests.

Art closing day

Closing reception for Jess Richter's exhibition out at the Last Mountain Lake cultural centre. Nice talk. Weird snacks. about 25 people attending.

This morning, William and I took his work down from the AGR outside the box and were able to carry it home in just three pieces.
