Ontario-based standard 8mm filmmaker Sandy McLennan did a workshop at the Filmpool as part of his Canada wide tour. I was on an online panel with him last summer so it was nice to meet face to face and see some of his films projected properly. I have been around long enough to be familiar with most of the basics he talked about in regard to 8mm formats, but I was delighted to see a 16mm-to-8mm film splitter for the first time. Very simple and specific but cool. I could probably 3D print one.
