Filmpool special meeting regarding finances

Met with Elaine Pain, John Kennedy, Ian Preston (on phone), Chuck Gilhooly, Darryl Kesslar, and others regarding distressful financial situations which have come to our attention at the Filmpool. Brenda Olsen has not been in the office since five days ago and the Board are not able to answer many questions, beginning with Michael Hoolboom's non-payment for his optical printer months ago. The accounts are overdrawn by $10,000 and the bank indicates that the "other account" we've always believed existed, doesn't. Entire meeting was audio recorded. 

On Johnny Sandison show

Drove  myVW Rabbit in snow storm out to CKCK tv. Was hit by semi. It blew a tire but just wrecked fender of car. Got to station on time for interview with Johnny Sandison. I don't think he read any of the pre-interview material on me but I didn't think he would, based on what I saw from previous interviews with Filmpool members. I just prepared to talk and I did. Short segment about "Angst".

Unused idea for printmaking

Sometime in 1992 when I was taking Jack Cowan's printmaking course, I drew this idea but it never made it to a print.

Canister! Assault and Batteries 3D album cover

As a special open up feature, the Canister! concept album, "Assault and Batteries" has an open up cover with duel images which can be seen, when utilizing a special viewer not included with the lp, in three dimensions. Rumors from the publishers at YAAG suggest that viewers were withheld due to Canister's disappointment that an image featuring Professor Delusia getting the upper hand and giving him what appears to be a lobotomy with a hand drill, was used instead of Canister's choice which featured him stripping the chrome off of an underage toaster. YAAG representatives have declined to comment on the choice except to say that they have great confidence that the re-release of this seminal album of Canister's drilling will become the sound of the 1970s.
