cactus thorns

I had a busy day, first the dentist, then banking, then some shopping, then more grading, then Rob shot a video of me for the department website, but I didn't take any pictures so they are not blog-worthy. A few minutes ago, before settling in for some Star Trek Enterprise, William and I were making his bed and he swept his hand across his cactus and got about 40 thistles in his finger. I'd not thought you could get that many, that quickly. We pulled them out by tweezers.
