Safeway reno continues

Yesterday was the last day you can use this east door of the 13th avenue Safeway. They'll be shifting over today and tearing up this side. The end is near; the back and the west sides are very nearly complete so once this east side is done, they just remove all of the temporary walls and have a new store. Too bad they didn't try to work in the facade to remain the same, even though the new look will be no more out of place in this 1920s-30s neighborhood than the 1950s look was.
