Apple sauce

First day of vacation with only normal stuff to do, but nothing was normal. Interviewed this morning for the LP. Power went out shortly after I got home, so we went shoe shopping. Minutes after returing from there, I watched my cat eat a live bird in less than a minute. Sorted stuffed toys from attic and declared 90% of them unnecessary for us to keep. Picked apples, even though they weren't ripe, and made 24 cups of apple sauce.
