This week's Expressionist speaker series was quite dynamic with Ken Wilson presenting a reading of a play he has written about the artist Dix. The structure of it was somewhat like a documentary with interviews being conducted with numerous people who knew him over the span of his long 20th century career, ranging from the teens to the seventies.
Helen spoke to, and demonstrated, aspects of expressionist music with her voice and with a piano accompanist. This also brought the music and the theory to life. Quite amazing.
