I've been catching up on my backlog of animation this past week, watching an hour or so per day. I've got the third Popeye collection, taking him to the end of the Fleischer era during WWII. I have the new Looney Tunes collection, again covering war years. I have the last Donald Duck collection, which I've not opened yet since it has no war in it. And I've been watching "The Animation Show" collection I bought a year or two ago but only sampled from and never watched all the way through. It has work by Don Hertzfeldt, whom my students named as one of their current favorites.
