Shooting super-8 with Annie Trussler

The conditions couldn't have been better for my One Take Super 8 film shoot today. The wind was calm, the temperature perfect, the sun shining, and I had all the best people around me. Erik Sirke shot for me. Annie Trussler, whom I met for the first time face to face on the set, did a great performance. William was my right had, helping with the playing back of audio, the establishment of eyelines, and the asking of esoteric questions. This is a film I've envisioned for years and needed to shoot. I'm not actually certain how good of a film it will be, but it sure feels good to have made it. I hope the audience gets it.
