I went to Don's Photo today to brainstorm ideas for my photography course this winter. I played with the new Canon camera which has some odd little features like the fisheye function (see above) and a function for making buildings look like toys. Robin Schlaht came to my Film 400 class today.
i did some reading a while back about the tilt shift lenses that do the tele-macro using lenses instead of a digital effect. it's pretty interesting stuff, especially when used with time lapse.
I am a filmmaker and professor in the Department of Film in the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance (MAP) at the University of Regina in Canada.

This blog was established to chronicle my one year sabbatical beginning July 1, 2007. I wrote every day that year and maintain it now for a personal and occasional professional journal.
