As with yesterday, we have been in Lethbridge all day, doing some watersliding, and visiting. In the morning we met artist Shanell Papp and toured her exhibition "Opera Cave" at the Casa gallery.
We also met up with Derek Olsen and his family who have begun Geo Caching with the kids (found a thing in the park and another in the information centre by our hotel). Derek was the first graduate with an MFA in media from UofR under my supervision and I'm very pleased to see that he is doing well, with a tenure track position at the university here and a new feature film hitting festivals this fall.
