Margaret was a bit behind on creating her artist trading cards this month. This morning she was working on a single finger puppet, continuing a series she did a few years ago. Instead of trading this one unit away, I created a 2.5"x3.5" mask on the scanner and then placed the puppet, along with other items, cloth, and puppets, with it. Sixteen scans later, I had made 16 completely different cards which could be printed two onto each 4x6 sheet of photographic paper, cut and traded. They look so much better printed than they do on the computer that we are thinking about doing a more ambition version together.
