Visions of the cold

The weather is up and down, up and down. Today is another very cold day with the house making those very loud cracking noises. I think I'm coming down with something; my throat is getting soar and I'm pretty sure I have a bit of a fever. The chimney smoke, combined with the sun sliding towards the horizon, made for some strange images just before supper.
